Harrisburg, PA. (June 30, 2015) – Carol Steinour Young, a Member of the law firm of McNees Wallace and Nurick LLC, was inducted into the Libris Society of Chestnut Hill College at the school’s 90th Anniversary Gala. Created in 2005, the Libris Society recognizes graduates who exemplify the College’s motto of Fides, Caritas, and Scientia (faith, charity, and knowledge) and are outstanding representatives of their alma mater.
A CHC graduate of the class of 1982, Carol Steinour Young, Esq. earned her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1989. Prior to starting law school, Carol worked for two years as a volunteer for Mercy Corps in Hialeah, Florida.
Carol is a member of the firm’s Litigation, Injunction, and Intellectual Property practice groups. She has been named to the Best Lawyers in America for three consecutive years. Carol currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army-Harrisburg. She is a former advisory board member and past-Chair of The Nature Conservancy of Pennsylvania, and a former advisory board member and past Chair of the Women’s Leadership Network of the United Way of the Capital Region. Carol recently served on the Executive Leadership team of the American Heart Association (Harrisburg area).
