Joe is a litigator and spends most of his time working for people who were hurt by others. At McNees, he practices in the Personal Injury and Litigation Groups where he and his experienced colleagues take many different types of cases to trial. He has always been a trial attorney representing individuals who were hurt by the bad conduct of others and prefers to try cases against companies who are bad actors and those that don’t follow the rules.
What does Joe do for Clients?
Joe works with regular people who were hurt by others. He works very closely with his clients to get to know them. He wants to understand how the injury they are fighting through has affected their day-to-day. If you were to talk to his clients, they would tell you he has been to their homes; sat with them and listened to the problems they have; and has celebrated with them when they start to get better or when they go back to work. Joe walks beside his clients through difficult times. He explains the most urgent work to be done, and then shares how this one step will lead to the overall outcome they seek. It is hard to understand what it is like to walk in someone else’s shoes, and Joe has learned to bring his clients’ situations to life for insurance adjusters, other lawyers, and juries.
What do Clients have to say about Joe?
“Joe, I want to thank you for all your hard work and efforts on my behalf. You made the process painless. I could not have picked a better attorney. It was a pleasure to work with you. Thank you again.” Ursula–Harrisburg, Pa.
“Dear Joe. I would like to thank you for all you did for me on my case. I would recommend you to anyone as an attorney. It was truly great working with you.” Anita, NY.
How does Joe spend his free time?
Joe talks about how he is the luckiest guy in the world, because he got to marry his high school sweetheart who remains the love of his life. He and his wife will have been married for thirty years in 2023 and have two kids. Their oldest son was married in 2021, and their younger son just finished his sophomore year at Grove City College. Joe loves spending time with his family. Whether it is hiking or playing pickle ball with his wife, fishing or editing videos with his older son, or playing tennis and geeking out on computers with his younger son; that is what he’s up to when he is not working. Joe is an avid reader, and admittedly a bit of a technology nerd. His goals in life are simple: serve God, be a great husband, be a great dad, and be the best trial lawyer he can be.
