McNees Attorney Rachel R. Hadrick Serves as Novice Advocate for Commonwealth Court Judges

Harrisburg, PA (October 22, 2015) – On Sept. 21, McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Rachel Hadrick served as one of two novice advocates who presented mock oral arguments for Judge Renee Cohn Jubelirer, Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt and Judge P. Kevin Brobson.

The CLE, Argument in the Commonwealth Court: Lessons Live from the Bench, held in the Pennsylvania Judicial Center, 601 Commonwealth Avenue, Harrisburg, was designed for anyone who had never participated in an oral argument or wanted to learn how to improve their persuasive skills before the appellate courts.  Following the mock oral arguments, the panel of Commonwealth Court judges and the audience discussed the arguments in an interactive setting.

Hadrick is an Associate in the McNees Litigation practice group. While in law school, Rachel participated in the Harrisburg Civil Law Clinic, representing indigent clients in civil matters.

Hadrick received her J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and her undergraduate degree from Lebanon Valley College.  She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and before the Federal District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania.
