HARRISBURG, Pa. – (May 15, 2018) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Brian Gregg will speak at the upcoming York County Economic Alliance’s Economics Club Breakfast at Wyndham Garden York on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. McNees is a sponsor for the event.
Brian, along with Sarah Lanphier of Sarah’s Snacks, will discuss the creation and protection of a brand in the Food and Beverage Industry. Brian will discuss how organizations can protect their brands and add value to their business through trademark and copyright protections. Other topics expected to be discussed include the lifecycle of a brand from testing to maintenance, as well as evolution of the brand.
Brian is Chair of the McNees Food & Beverage Practice Group and practices in the Intellectual Property, Privacy & Data Security, and Craft Brewery Practice Groups. He focuses his work on trademark and copyright protection, software and technology services contracts, franchising, food labeling law, internet law and other issues related to the protection and licensing of intellectual property. While he provides legal advice to clients in numerous industries, he has a focus on assisting craft breweries, wineries and craft liquor distilleries with trademark protection, development of branding strategies, as well as liquor license permitting.
