McNees’ Iris Jones Earns Executive of the Year Award from LSSO

HARRISBURG – Iris Jones of McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC was selected as Executive of the Year 2017 by the Legal Sales and Service Organization (LSSO) at its 2017 Annual RainDance Conference in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday, May 9.
The award is given to recognize the efforts and results from individuals who have helped their firm drive revenue. Its criteria focuses on retaining an “in jeopardy” client, launching a successful client-facing program (client interviews; client teams, service excellence, or similar client-facing initiative or culture-changing strategy), and developing a substantive new client relationship from initiating contact with the prospect through final engagement and client acquisition.
“Iris’ leadership and experience has been instrumental in the Firm’s business development and marketing success, and the outstanding relationships we have with our clients,” McNees Chairman David M. Kleppinger said. “The recognition for the hard work put in by Iris is a well-deserved honor.”
Jones serves as McNees’ Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer since 2015. She leads the firm’s business development and marketing team which delivers proactive service and high-level support to the firm and its attorneys. She works closely with firm management and attorneys to expand business by strengthening relationships with existing clients and developing relationships with new clients.
She serves on the firm’s Diversity Committee, Professional and Personal Development Committee (PPDC) and the 2026 Future’s Committee.
Jones is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Legal Marketing Association (LMA), is Co-Chair of the LMA Diversity & Inclusion Task Force and has served as a panelist at LMA Annual conferences and LMA Chapter events on numerous occasions.
Jones is the current Chair of the Alumni Board of Directors, Bowling Green State University, and serves on the Cultural Enrichment Fund board of directors, Harrisburg, Pa.
