McNees’ Diane M. Tokarsky Recognized For Achievements In The 2016 Women Of Influence Awards

HARRISBURG, PA (April 11, 2016) – McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC is pleased to announce that Member, Diane M. Tokarsky, has been named an award recipient of the 2016 Women of Influence awards.
Diane was selected as one of the top nominees by the judges for her leadership and achievements within McNees, as well as her contributions to the community.
“Leading by example in supporting the advancement of women in both law and construction, Diane is a first-class lawyer with an exceptional track record of achieving excellent results for our clients,” said David Kleppinger, Chairman of McNees Wallace & Nurick. “We are very pleased that Diane is the recipient of this well-deserved honor.”
Diane is Chair of the Construction and Procurement Law Group at McNees. She represents various segments of the construction industry and those contracting with the Commonwealth. Diane routinely drafts and negotiates contracts, and counsels clients during the course of a project. She also represents the interests of those bidding work or supplying items to the Commonwealth. When disputes arise, Diane appears on behalf of clients in state and federal courts, mediations and arbitrations. An advocate of alternative dispute resolution, Diane also serves as a private mediator. In support of disadvantaged businesses, Diane counsels companies on obtaining Women Business Enterprise certification.
Her extensive civic commitment includes leadership roles in a number of local organizations including the YWCA, Military Heritage Foundation, and United Way Tocqueville Society.
The Women of Influence awardsrecognizes 25 women leaders in the midstate who are influential in their companies, industries and communities, and have solid reputations based on their experience, integrity, leadership, and accomplishments.
As an award winner, Diane will be recognized at an event on Friday, June 24 at the Hilton Harrisburg, as well as in a publication to be inserted in the July 1 issue of the Central Penn Business Journal.
The seventh annual Women of Influence awards is presented by Linden Hall and sponsored by Brown Shultz Sheridan and Fritz; Highmark Blue Shield; Mountz Jewelers; PinnacleHealth System; Grandview Asset Management; Classic Drycleaners and Laundromats; and FGV Media. It is a program of the Central Penn Business Journal.
