HARRISBURG, Pa. (April 28, 2025) — McNees Wallace & Nurick today announced the addition of construction and real estate litigation attorney Veronica L. Morrison to the firm’s Harrisburg office.

Morrison joins McNees’ Construction & Procurement Group with significant experience representing real estate owners and developers, general contractors, subcontractors, local governments and commercial business owners. She previously served as a shareholder at Stevens & Lee, focusing on construction and real estate litigation. Originally from Lancaster, Morrison will serve clients in both the Harrisburg and Lancaster offices.

At McNees, Morrison advises clients on all project phases, from preconstruction planning and contract disputes to risk management, lien claims and hearings before the Pennsylvania Board of Claims. Morrison also focuses on alternative dispute resolution to address project delays, payment disputes and zoning challenges.

“We’re excited to welcome Veronica to our team. She brings deep experience in real estate and construction litigation, but she also is skilled at helping clients resolve their disputes outside the courtroom,” said Andrew Levy, chair of McNees’ Construction and Procurement Group. “That’s the kind of well-rounded experience that adds significant value to our firm and our clients.”

Morrison is an active leader in the legal and construction communities. She serves on the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania’s Committee on Rules of Evidence, is a hearing committee member for the Supreme Court Disciplinary Board and sits on the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Section Council, serving as its diversity liaison. She is also the vice chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, chairs the Total Human Health Committee for Associated Builders and Contractors, and serves on its Workforce Development Committee.

Morrison earned her law degree from Washington University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.

Continued growth in Construction & Procurement Group

Morrison’s addition continues a series of strategic hires in McNees’ Construction & Procurement Group. Earlier this month, veteran construction litigator David L. Cole Jr. joined McNees’ Towson office—further expanding the team’s capabilities. The team includes more than 20 attorneys across the firm’s 10 offices, providing clients with comprehensive legal services, including dispute resolution, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance and procurement counsel.
