Helix Strategies’ Alicia Stanley earns nonprofit ‘Standards for Excellence’ recognition in Pennsylvania

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Helix Strategies today announced Development Manager Alicia M. Stanley has earned recognition as a Standards for Excellence® Pennsylvania Licensed Consultant through the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO).
Stanley joins Helix Strategies President and Founder Ivy Buchan, who also is a Standards for Excellence Licensed Consultant at both the state and national levels. Together, Stanley and Buchan help nonprofit organizations develop strategic solutions to their fundraising and leadership challenges.

The Standards for Excellence program sets high standards and promotes excellence and accountability for nonprofits through self-regulation. The goal of the Standards for Excellence program is to help increase the public’s trust in nonprofit organizations, to maximize the impact of the nonprofit services to the community and to connect potential donors and volunteers with nonprofits that act ethically and are accountable in their program operations, governance, human resources, financial management and fundraising practices.
The program is overseen nationally by the board of Maryland Nonprofits and The National Ethics Standards Committee. The PANO Standards for Excellence program is overseen by an independent committee of PANO’s board, which includes leaders and professionals across the Pennsylvania nonprofit sector.
