Shannon McCurdy, MPS, SHRM-SCP, is a passionate and knowledgeable human resources professional with over a decade of experience. As the Director of Professional Development, she builds and maintains strong working relationships at all levels of McNees, both internally and externally, while driving HR best practices and strategically aligning people resources, leadership and development with key business needs.

Prior to joining McNees, Shannon served in a range of human resources roles with a national professional human resources membership association and performed in industries such as health insurance, manufacturing, higher education, journalism, hospitality and retail. She has developed and updated a suite of HR resources, including those addressing trends in employee interests, employee relations, talent and development; monitored changes in federal and state laws and regulations; championed best practices, process improvement initiatives, organizational structure review and redesign; and collaborated on an effective external and internal workforce staffing strategies.
