Helvy, Chair of McNees Family Law practice group, has been practicing Domestic and Family Law since his admission to the Bar in 1988. Helvy is currently the Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Family Law Section. He has chaired the Legislative, Membership and Program Committees of the PBA Family Law Section and has testified before the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee regarding pending family law legislation. Helvy is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Central Pennsylvania Collaborative Professionals.
Cantor, a member in the McNees Family Law practice group, practices in the area of Family Law including divorce, support, custody and property distribution. She is a certified collaborative lawyer and is Vice-Chair of Collaborative Professionals of Central PA (CPCP), her local collaborative practice group as well a member of the PBA collaborative law committee. Cantor also serves on the PBA family law council. She is a regular lecturer for PBI on all family law topics with an emphasis on collaborative law and property and financial issues, including prenuptial agreements. Cantor has been named a Best Lawyer in family and collaborative law annually since 2013 and a Super Lawyer since 2008.
Hoover is an associate attorney in the McNees Family Law practice group. His practice focuses in the areas of divorce, support, child custody, property distribution, and alimony. Hoover is active in the Central Pennsylvania legal community. He has presented on Family Law issues to the Dauphin County Bar Association and was a Law Day presenter with the Cumberland County Bar Association and the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
